What you can expect today
Before we get stuck in, there is a bit of onboarding that needs to happen. Here is what to expect:
A calendar invite to your Zoom workshop slot for the week
A slack group invite to Circles in Time community space
A group invite to the WhatsApp Programme Noticeboard
An invite to access to the Programme Content Hub on Notion
Week One Workshop Pre-readings
I will send out a set of pre-readings for week one, later today. These pre-readings will be accessible via the Programme Content Hub for those who are participating in the workshops. Summaries will be available via Substack.
By providing the week’s content in pre-readings beforehand, the hope is that we can spend more time in discussions and group exercises during the workshops. My current view is that this is where the real value of a live online session exists. Engaging with the programme content is possible at any time while discussing the key ideas and taking part in practical exercises to build the necessary skills, is not.
In saying that, there will be short presentations at the beginning of each segment during the workshops. However, this content is very much a complement rather than a direct substitute for the pre-readings shared.
Sitting on the Fence?
If you’re currently one of the fence-sitters that haven’t booked a timeslot yet, there are still a few spots in the Saturday workshops available (Wednesday is fully booked up, unfortunately). All you need to do is add your details here:
Happy sitting on the fence? No problem! You’re welcome to follow along as we move through the programme. You’ll get surface-level access to the content via Substack, which should give you a good sense of whether the programme is something you want to do in the future. As mentioned previously, they’ll be another opportunity in September to participate and I’ll make sure you’re at the front of the line if you’re interested.
